While we are a volunteer organization, one of our pride and joy experiences is to help out at local special events with radio communications. Make sure you check out our Meeting and Event Times page for a full listing of events we offer radio communication assistance to. We also hope you check out our meeting listings and attend a meeting. You do not have to be a member to attend, our doors are open to everyone. Give us a try and see what we are doing for our local communities.
Regular Monthly Meeting
We invite you to come and join us at our next meeting which will be held in the EMT Training Center at Grace Cottage Hospital at 7 PM on the second Tuesday. We hope that you will come and enjoy partisipating wiht our group! Make it better, bring a firend.
Regular Monthly BOD / Luncheon Meeting
We also invite you to come and join us at the PanAsian Restaurant in Brattleboro. This meeting is open to everyone who woudl like to attend. Good Food, Fun, Friends and great conversations! We meet at 11:30 AM on on the last Saturday of the month.

We have resumed our Emergency Servcies Net on the new club repeater WR1VT located in Brattleboro, VT. Join us on 146.865 with a negitive offset and a 100 hz tone at 1930 (L). We hope to hear you there.

Technician License classes will be scheduled soon!
The West River Radio Club offers those interested in becoming a newly licensed amateur radio operator and existing amateur radio operators, license classes to obtain your first license or to help you upgrade your existing license. Our VE team will be your Elmer's and assist you to the goal you have in mind. The cost of the class includes your class time, handouts, and the FCC Licensing test. Be ready to learn! Extra!! Extra!! It's VE Session Time!!!
The West River Radio Club will offer a VE exam session for all license levels in March. If you want to take exams, please pre-register either by emailing Mary Peterson, KB1YCD at email@example.com
To learn more about the West River Radio Club and Amateur Radio, go to the "About Us" section of our web site. As a further thought, our membership dues are very reasonable!!! Our rates are $10.00 for the first member of the immediate family, and just $5.00 for each additional family member. We also encourage you to bring along a friend or someone who is interested in radio communications.
See who is a member of the West River Radio Club in our club Roster. We currently have 50 members of which 3 are auxiliary members! We are growing group of folks and remember, if you are a licensed operator, we hope you will consider joining us to provide help for Windham County and the surrounding areas. If you are interested in joining us, please bring in your completed application to our next meeting or mail it to the address on the form. Even if you do not have a license, but are interested in amateur radio, emergency communications or helping the public, we invite you to come to one of our meetings and join in on the fun.

If you would like an Instructor Lead class, we will be glad to help out.
