WRRC License Class and VE Session Information

The West River Radio Club offers classes to help you become a new Amateur Radio Operator, or we will assist you in upgrading your current license.  Our classes fees are very reasonable.  There is a one time fee which includes your text book, handouts, instructional class time, and the FCC test fee.  There are no instructional or hidden fees beyond the initial cost.  For more information, contact any of the VE Team members below.  We are here to help!

The Brattleboro VEM office is located on the 3rd floor of the Brattleboro Municipal Center, 230 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT.  Parking is available in the rear of the building with the entrance off from Grove Street.

Upcoming Classes

Technician License Class

The West River Radio Club will be holding a Technician Class License courses at Rescue, Inc.  Brattleboro, VT. There will be a VE session at the completion of the course.  This will be a 6 week class starting on (TBA January 2010). 

Tuition is $50 which includes textbook, handouts, and VE exam fee.

General License Class

The West River Radio Club is sponsoring a 10 week General Class License
course. Big changes are happening in Amateur Radio!
Already there have been exciting reallocations on the bands.  A good thing
 to remember is the Morse Code test has been eliminated. Now is the time to upgrade
your license and take advantage of some great new privileges!  The last class is the VE exam!
Tuition is $50.00 which includes VE exam fee and text book.

Copies of 2 Forms of ID
A Basic Calculator (Or one with the memory cleared if it is a programmable one)
$14.00 Examination Fee (Unless you took our class which includes this fee)
Cash Only - Please Bring Exact Change.

No reservations are needed to take an exam.
